I can’t say for sure if this app works because I never got to converting files. Every time I clicked the “convert” button the app crashed. It did so five times in a row.

Tried to convert .mp4 to .mpeg2. It kept failing.

I tried to take an mp4 created from iMovie and convert it to both AVI and WMV. When I tried to play these on Windows 7 Media Player, I had sound but either a still image or no video at all. It’s hard to imagine how this product passed any kind of testing phase.

This didn’t convert MP4s from iMovie to MP2s. The AVIs I made were horrendous quality. Find another app.

works very fast and it converts vob, ts which is just what I needed!!!

I needed to convert a mpeg-4 video with an audio codec that wasn’t QuickTime supported to a .mov video with a supported audio codec, and this app worked perfectly for that. Interface is reasonably simple and easy to use. Quick tip: This app could benefit from a more modern logo and a more grammatically correct and persuasive description.

I IIKED THE FACT IT WAS FREE AND WITHOUT LIMITATIONS … BUT THE CONVERTED VIDEO IS PATHETIC QUALITY INSPITE OF SELECTING HIGH RESOLUTION

I have a season of a tv show I’m trying to convert from mkv to mp4 and though this did convert it, it dropped the resolution down to a fraction of the original whivh also gave it a fuzzy, distorted look. I’ve always used HandBreak to convert videos because it’s free and it does a great job maintaining quality. I gave this a whirl because I’m trying to convert an entire season rather than just a movie or some one time deal. I don’t think they could pay me to recommend this. Check out HandBreak. Much better.

I am a devout MAChead and have been agonizing over every .wmv file that has come in…tried every other downloadable converter: This one is THE BEST. Thank you iStonsoft, SOUNDSMITH

I must be doing something very wrong because it only converts the first half of my files - ie, the target file is half the length of the original. No settings that I can find to change this.

I needed to convert an mp2 video file into a format suitable for insertion into a PP presentation. This app worked perfectly, converting my mp2 file into a quick time file. Can’t speak for other formats, but this was quick and simple for my needs.

I need to convert a .wma file to an .mp4 and this app couldnt have made it any easier!

converted my video with this app was a success, but when i try to play the video, theres no audio. :(

I KEEP TRYING TO CONVERT AN MP4 FILE TO MPEG AND IT KEEPS EXITING PROGRAM AFTER I HIT CONVERT! WORTHLESS APP!

This app is perfect! After spending hours searching for a free converter that could convert large videos, I finally found this one. It literally took 2 minutes to convert a 757 MB .mpg video to a .mov video! Absolutely amazing!

Being an app developer myself, know the pain of developing a great app from an idea. And this app does it all. Just fantastic app to convert the videos. And it’s free. That’s the best thing about the app. Interface was little confusing for the first time use but figured it out. Great work and thanks to the development team. Keep up the great work and good luck !!

Pure and simple. Choose the files, choose the format you want to convert it to(its got formats optimized for ipod screens; great!), choose the ouptut folder and click convert! Its great. I reccomend!

Tried converting both Mp4 and m4v to mpg, but the program failed.
